If you're here, chances are you are familiar with one of my humor pages from That Mom Tho, but if not, welcome either way! I have spent the last 10 years parenting, and the last several years trying to find an outlet to express all of my emotions that come with this journey. I have started blogs, social media pages, and finally am embarking on expressing my creativity through design.
Parenting is not for the faint of heart. My children bring me joy and laughter (thus the endless supply of tweet material!) but I have also found myself staring at the wall at times wondering how I was going to put one foot in front of the other. Through my darkest days I found that expressing my feelings through writing and creating helped me to process what I was feeling.
This journey of creating apparel and other items stemmed from my search for clothing and other items that related to my own experiences. I love coffee and books, I love houseplants (RIP to all the houseplants that have met their demise in my home!). I enjoy baking and eating and wanted to express my passions loud and proud. I am not a wine mom, no offense to anyone who is, but it's just not my lifestyle, and it was mostly what I found when searching for mom wear. Thus That Mom Shop was born.
My designs are for one and all, I hope anyone can browse through what I have designed and find something to make them smile. Or perhaps it will be the perfect gift for that special someone.
